Jesse Morgan has been playing drums for over 40 years experienced in Rock, Funk, Shuffles, R&B and Blues drumming styles.
Jesse performed with Ginai, Bobby Thursby & Night Train, JP Smoketrain and the rock group Paradise XS. Before moving to Hawaii, from St. Louis MO, he was drummer for local phenom “BIG FUN” who held the house band position for the premier showcase club “Mississippi Night”
Scott specializes in drumset (electronic and acoustic) percussion, instruction and composition. He earned his bachelor’s degree in professional music from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. With over 35 years of experience his history covers a broad musical landscape including Big Band Jazz, bebop, Jazz Fusion, Musicals, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Orchestral, Funk, R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Island Contemporary and World Music. He is currently working with Hawaii’s hottest R&B band: Eight0Eight, Island Music band: Redemption InC, Jazz Quartet: 16th Ave.Quartet, Island Contemporary band: Manoa DNA as well as a healthy dose of various freelance projects. Scott has been teaching professionally for over 20 years. Through the years, he’s developed a keen sense for recognizing an individual’s learning strengths, thus utilizing those strengths to maximize one’s learning experience.
