Scott specializes in drumset (electronic and acoustic ) percussion, instruction and composition. He earned his bachelor’s degree in professional music from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. With over 35 years of experience his history covers a broad musical landscape including Big Band Jazz, bebop, Jazz Fusion, Musicals, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Orchestral, Funk, R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Island Contemporary and World Music. He is currently working with Hawaii’s hottest R&B band : Eight0Eight, Island Music band: Redemption InC, Jazz quartet : 16th Ave.Quartet, Island Contemporary band : Manoa DNA as well as a healthy dose of various freelance projects. Scott’s has been teaching professionally for over 20 years. Through these years he’s developed a keen sense for recognizing an individual’s learning strengths thus utilizing those strengths to maximize one’s learning experience.
