We offer a wide range of group classes!
Our group classes include: theater class, fashion design, DJ class, music production, a thriving keiki and teen band program, ukulele and guitar building programs, and group music classes for ages 1-3 years old, 4-6 years old and 7-12 years old!
Please note that all band students must be enrolled in private lessons to be able to participate in band class.
Morning classes for parents and small ones to socialize and start early music development. Sing songs, learn about sounds, rhythms and musical concepts in a fun family environment.

Join a band with like-minded peers and receive guidance on performance and songwriting. Learn valuable skills and have fun while rocking out with your bandmates. Our Band Programs are currently forming Rock/Pop/Alternative groups. Classes and programs are hour-long classes. All of our band classes include performance & recording opportunities. Students must also be in private classes.
Upon request (new or current students), individual assessments will be made to determine the right fit for a band for your child. Register early to get your student a band placement.

Band Class FAQs
Learn to DJ in a fun and productive environment! This is a skill that can translate to lifelong opportunities to make income being a DJ at events like parties, weddings, coroporate events, you name it.
Yves Vibar-Kline, (who DJ’s professionally as Mettā Atom) an accomplished DJ and music producer, will be returning for next semester of DJ Class! He’s the best. As the kids progress, we will have them onstage in between bands at Kai-Chella.

Dungeons and Dragons with Coach Lala and Coach Andi returns for a Spring semester! This three-hour adventurous learning class is a ton of fun! Create characters and storylines, wear costumes and spend your Sunday’s doing sneaky learning in a creative environment.
If your child enjoys reading, creative writing, adventure settings, and character creation they will love this.
We are capping the students at 8 total, so reserving is encouraged.

Mini Confidence Rocks Class introduces young kids to a world of music! This class for kids 4-6 years old includes a mix of storytime, musical instruments, and group play.
Kailua Music School is a blast for growing musicians and introduces kids to core musical concepts. It’s the perfect class for preschoolers and early elementary students who want to get started with music!
Kids will learn about core musical concepts, like loud and soft, fast and slow, and high and low notes. Some of these concepts will be introduced through story time.
We will also incorporate movement-based activities. This allows students to express themselves through music and dance. Students are introduced to instruments like the ukulele, drum kit, microphones and keyboard. At the same time, they learn fundamental skills that prepare them for music lessons.

Confidence Rocks music classes for kids also tap into a number of key early childhood skills. Through Kailua Music School, young students can build skills like counting, pattern recognition, hand-eye coordination, social skills, and auditory awareness. Plus, kids can have fun, make friends, and unlock their inner musician!
