Are you an experienced musician looking to challenge yourself? Join Kailua Music School's Advanced Rock/Pop/Alternative Band class! In this 4-day a week program from June to July, you'll take your skills to the next level with our expert coaches. Class runs Monday-Thursday, 11am-noon. What to Expect from Band Class
KMS Band Classes are one of our most popular curriculums. We offer Band Mentorship programs, band classes under Group Classes year round, as well as seasonal band classes found on the Season Programs page.
We are currently entering our Summer Programs season, and band class signups are now open. Each program is different and will provide unique experiences, learning goals, and musical resources to students. However, in every band class program, we share common good practices, learning outcomes, and musical growth themes. It is important to understand the time and dedication required to become a great bandmate.
This season, our Summer Program offers three band class categories based on skill level: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. If you want to request a student placement assessment, please contact us or register before classes begin on June 5th, in order to allow for time to evaluate and place the student.

Coach Availability
All of our coaches, mentors, and staff are accomplished and active musicians with instrumental or technical experience in the music industry. Many KMS coaches are multi-instrumentalists, but specialized and in depth training and curriculums are available.
